London born and based designer A Sai Ta launched his label ASAI with Fashion East in February 2017. After graduating from his BA at Central Saint Martins, he gained experience at The Row and was headhunted for a position at Kanye West's Yeezy a year into his MA. ASAI takes the familiar, and reimagines it iconoclastically by entering into nuances of his British-Chinese-Vietnamese cultural heritage as a second generation Londoner. Taking the craftsman's spirit from his parents – a seamstress mother and a carpenter father – ASAI often employs surface decoration and fabric manipulation to create intricate textiles, which mirrors the designer's appeal to disrupt familiar visual codes. By blending the bold colour waves, the ASAI Hot Wok Top has gained a cult status through the contemporary followings.

Marta Jakubowski is a London based designer, born in Poland and raised in Germany. She graduated with MA Womenswear from the Royal College of Art London and was selected to showcase her collections during London Fashion Week as part of the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN initiative since. Marta Jakubowski has worked with brands including Hussein Chalayan, Alexander Wang and Jonathan Saunders, and has developed an unmistakable minimalist signature. She was shortlisted for the LVMH prize and Woolmark Prize 2018 and continues to showcase her seasonal collections on schedule during London Fashion Week.

Her minimalist signature aesthetic has evoked endorsement from the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna and gained international recognition. Marta is also lecturing at the BA Fashion Womenswear course at London College of Fashion and is Senior Lecturer in Fashion at London Metropolitan University.

Reike Nen’s inspiration comes from novels, films, old fashion patterns, traditional craft, unprocessed natural materials amongst others. Ovelia Transtoto launched her eponymous brand in 2016, joining her dual passions for fashion and art to create stylistically adventurous yet functional designs. OVELIA TRANSTOTO aspires to create beautifully crafted collections that embody the designer’s unique approach to womenswear; one that combines architectural concepts such as precision and structure, with romantic ideas of sensuality and freedom. Traditional references are transformed into experimental yet wearable clothes that are distinctively recognizable for their ingenuity and versatility – presenting women with modern wardrobe elements that are imbued with potentiality.

Yang has created a multi-disciplinary design studio based in London. Through this house he explores, expresses and proposes ideas through the various media of garments, objects and printed matters.

Yang grew up in Shenzhen, China, before moving to the UK in 2006. He started studying at CSM in 2009 and received a MA in fashion in April, 2015, which was the same year he established his namesake brand.

Yang is guided by an interest in the human form, which developed from a background in the fine arts. His interests in fashion specifically is in how it allows contact or proximity to the living body that isn’t as obvious in the other artistic media.
